• We recognise that each resident has the right to Autonomy
• Freedom of choice is encouraged to enable residents to pursue their own individual lifestyle in clean, bright, comfortable and homely surroundings
• Activities and personal skills are encouraged so that residents can achieve their full potential
• This means that the facilities available eg. sun lounge plus other lounges offer areas for developing friendships with others
• We also recognise the need for quiet and privacy for residents in their own room or in a 'quiet' room
• Visits and outings are encouraged and the local community offers a wide range of amenities, eg. churches, shops, library and clubs
