We recognise that each resident has the right to Autonomy
Freedom of choice is encouraged to enable residents to pursue
their own individual lifestyle in clean, bright, comfortable and
homely surroundings.
Activities and personal skills are encouraged so that residents
can achieve their full potential.
This means that the facilities available eg. sun lounge plus
other lounges offer areas for developing friendships with
others.
We also recognise the need for quiet and privacy for residents
in their own room or in a 'quiet' room.
Visits and outings are encouraged and the local community offers
a wide range of amenities, eg. churches, shops, library and
clubs |
