     I AM writing to express my feelings regarding some bad press of care homes.

My mother is a resident of The Bell Memorial Home in South Street, Lancing.

If she reaches her birthday on July 29 she will be 106.

It is due to the care she has received from the staff and I know it would have been

 impossible for me to have managed the 24-hour attention she needs and has got from all

the staff at the home.

I realise that not all the homes are perfect but The Bell is one of the best.

So thank you to all the women who work there, I shall forever be in their debt.
